Our Team
KOREAUTY is the result of a collaborative academic project developed by a multidisciplinary student team with a shared interest in Korean skincare, cosmetic science, and digital commerce.
Our team combines research-driven product development with practical e-commerce implementation, focusing on structure, clarity, and user-oriented design.
Academic & Conceptual Foundation
The KOREAUTY project was created within a university course focused on e-commerce systems and digital product strategy. All products, categories, and brand concepts were developed based on established skincare routines and commonly recognized cosmetic ingredients.
Our approach emphasizes:
- Market analysis of Korean beauty trends
- Functional product categorization
- Clear consumer communication
Team Expertise
The KOREAUTY team brings together skills from multiple disciplines:
- Product & Brand Concept: Defining product functions, positioning, and routine logic
- Research & Content: Ingredient research, benefit mapping, and educational content
- E-Commerce & UX: WordPress/WooCommerce setup, category structure, and navigation
- Visual Presentation: Product descriptions, imagery concepts, and brand consistency
Each team member contributed to building a coherent and realistic skincare brand framework.
Collaboration & Workflow
Our work process is structured, research-oriented, and iterative. Decisions are made based on usability, clarity, and alignment with Korean skincare principles rather than trend-driven assumptions.
This collaborative workflow allowed us to develop a complete, end-to-end e-commerce skincare concept within an academic setting.
Learning Objective
KOREAUTY was developed as a learning project with the goal of applying theoretical knowledge to a practical digital storefront. The focus was not only on product creation, but also on understanding customer journeys, category logic, and brand storytelling.
Transparency
KOREAUTY is a conceptual brand created for educational purposes. All products and descriptions are designed to demonstrate e-commerce structure, branding strategy, and skincare categorization within a controlled academic environment.
